HIPAA Investigation for Global Medical Services Provider
American Discovery reviewed over 25 million documents as part of a comprehensive Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) investigation. Documents were reviewed from more than 3,000 work stations and hundreds of servers located in 3 countries. During the height of the investigation, our review staff functioned around the clock, seven days a week. The review parameters were complex and included a review for responsiveness and “Personal Health Information” as defined under HIPAA. Deadlines for the investigation were met and under budget.
